Future of Wine

Join us for an immersive wine tasting event exploring the impact of climate change on the wine industry. Discover how producers are adapting and innovating to meet future challenges and opportunities.

What is it?

Immersive Climate Tasting

We blend sustainable wine tasting with climate science. Guests explore the actual impact of global heating, water scarcity, and agricultural shifts directly in their glasses. We work directly with producers and vintners to source exciting stories and exemplar wines from around the world.

Interactive & Action-Led

This is not a passive lecture. Through structured tasting and gamified climate choices, we turn the global climate crisis into a relatable, delicious, and highly memorable corporate experience.

Purpose-Driven Team Building

Your Green Team has been hard at work for the past year driving forward Net Zero and sustainability initiatives, but they’ve not really had time to hang out with each other. Our events give them the perfect opportunity to learn more about sustainability, hang out with each other and have a fun time.

For Client Entertainment & Sales

A sophisticated but fun alternative to your typical client dinners.

Are you looking to add an environmental twist to your networking event?

Are you trying to attract new clients for your sustainability business, but finding that conferences aren’t providing ROI?

Inviting prospects to a wine tasting demonstrates you as an innovative, forward thinker and is an event your leads will actually turn up to and allow you to cementhigh-value client relationships .

Problems We Solve

Sustainability training is ineffective

You’ve done the webinars, the video platforms but people aren’t getting it. Our event lets them taste the reality of climate change through a medium that is tactical and familiar to them, and something they see in their daily lives. People come back to us with facts we taught them years ago. By focusing on an activity that people already enjoy, tasting wine, the event makes learning memorable. It creates legacy.

Lead Generation events are boring

Inviting people to dinners and exclusive roundtables is great, but can be a bit repetitive. We’re not just any wine tasting, but weave in comedy (you be the judge) and games alongside serious topics like climate risk – and let you taste this too.

Wine tastings don’t talk about production

One of the most common bits of feedback we get is that people never really hear about how wine is actually made. Both Alex and Adam are WSET trained and can walk the talk about flavours – but hearing about the journey from grape to bottle is what audiences love

Team away days are difficult to arrange

Going off-site can be tricky. We can come to you and host a full wine tasting in your venue, and work with in-house catering teams for a memorable experience without having to leave the office. Our solutions are turnkey, with us able to provide sommeliers, glassware, wine, content – the lot! We’ve hosted for 10 people to 50+

Alcohol-focused events are not inclusive

Not everyone drinks alcohol so we started by creating an event where all are involved, regardless of whether they take part in the tasting. By focusing on the content, the games and the interaction with attendees, those who don’t drink alcohol have equally enjoyed our events. Our webinars are commonly dry.

A fun and practical session with interesting wines and facts thrown in! A great way to think about the effects of climate change in a glass and the decisions we make each day from vineyard to table.

‘The Future of Wine’ event was a really informative way of demonstrating the impact of climate change on an industry we often enjoy without considering the broader challenges. Adam & Alex presented these in a fun, tasty and data-led format which encouraged people to build on relationships and local sustainability projects

The evening was absolutely fantastic, I learned so much, drank some yummy wine (including my first taste of orange wine) and met some new friends. Adam and Alex were exceptional!

The traditional European winemaking regions are frighteningly exposed to climate change. Adam & Alex are putting together a great forum for people from the sustainability sphere and the wine sector to interact

An excellent wine tasting done differently, educational delicious and networking in the mix too!

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Wine tasting is a creative (and fun!) way to introduce discussions about climate change. As humans, there is not a single thing we do that does not have an impact on our planet and by addressing what might happen to the things we love doing if we don’t take action, we can engage many different demographics. Adam and Alex were knowledgeable and gracious hosts, the information was clearly presented and the wines were well chosen!

Why Wine?

We often get asked if we can do a tasting with Coffee, Chocolate or Whisky instead. These are certainly possible but we wanted to focus on making the best wine tastings we can. Wine offers a unique opportunity to do “vertical tastings” too, where you explore the wine over several years from the same producer (vintages) to compare, or explore the same grapes from regions around the world. We have found that while this is possible with coffee, chocolate and whisky, none of them provide the width, breadth and depth that Wine does. The thousands of years of history, the records kept over the centuries and the depth of culture around wine is unrivalled by any other product.
